Hi all,

Just bought (month ago) an R1 2000 (4XV)..... now, will it ever stop raining? Sure it all started when I bought it :(

Hi Ian.can you send me your address as I know a few people who want a word with you, they have had their houses ruined by your decision to buy an R1. Should you survive the beating then enjoy the R1 :lol: :lol: :lol:

PJC ment get some pics up Ohhh and a bit about your biking history would be good , you'll love the 4xv but if it hasn't got a steering damper get one ;)

I've been riding for about 18 years and have had many, many bikes but to keep it relevant, I have had a 1998 blue r1 followed by a silver 2003 R1 (very nice) then a 2005 under seat model which was fast but I just couldn't get on with the front end so sold that. After many bikes and due to the stupid price of new bikes I spotted a 2000 red and white R1 (4XV) which was parked next to some new bikes and I still thought it looked bloody trick, so here I am!

Just need a nice pipe now to wake it up. My god is the standard can quite!!!

when i first got my 4xv it had a battered Leo Vince on it & it sounded great
