Oh Yes I do that ;) Often blast up there to avoid the police.

I guess you use the 68 to Hexham and up to Carter Bar on to Hawick and Selkirk or maybe to Hartside over the gravel and missing the cops

No a lad called Rob Sim. He sold it all to the guy who runs it now. Can't remember his name but he's a really good hand.
Rob Sim....was he a scouse lad that used to put fireblade motors into steelie CBR chassis's in mid to late 90's

He certainly did do all sorts with the old CBRs in fact before his business was simmi performance it was called TEAM CBR but he wasn't scouse. He was from Stanley as far as I remember. He used to race the old steel frame CBRs aswell many moons ago.
I worked for him when I first left school and he had an outbuilding with thousands upon thousands of Honda spares. Mind you the guy who owns the business now has improved it no end by getting accredited British standards etc whereas the old business was as rough as a buzzards jock strap but he could turn out some masterful engineering work
Yeah Team CBR thats him,i could of sworn he had a scouse accent but yeah top bloke he was,did me a few good favours for an old steelie i used to have

Hi everyone, I'm a newbie to this forum. I'm here because I share the same passion as you, our love for motorbikes and my love for my R1. I'm from Coventry and I am always up for a get together, to tear up the country roads. I am a fare weather rider (I love my bike to much to subject it to rain and winter salt).

Welcome in bud! I'm mobile so can't see your full profile what bike you got? Ideally you could start a "hi" thread with some pics [emoji57] but good intro anyway
