Used to have one just like that, now I have a battered silver track day one, lol
Not had it on the track yet, had a bad year financialy so bought this after I had to sell my good r1. Things are picking up again and I'm very happy with how well it rides. Looking forward to see how it holds up against my mates bikes. Do you have standard sprockets on? I'm thinking of adding +2 teeth to the rear? What you think? Any advice is appreciated mate.

Not messed with the gearing yet mate, just starting to tinker with it over the winter, got a power commander and was gonna start by dropping the front -1 do the air box mod then take it from there if I think I want more. +2 on the rear is the same as -1 on front you should see a noticeable difference in acceleration and just give away a bit of top end. Good luck with it mate there a good bike

Have done around a thousand miles and am happy with it, think I will just do the front for now then, cheers. When you say air box mod? What's that involve? I've put a k&n filter in and got a new pipe so I've done away with the old exup exhaust pipe completely. Am I miles away here?

Yeah, the air box mod is listed on here in 5pw section I think, if not put it in google and it will come up basically it cuts of the front of the air box allowing more airflow, how's ur bike running with the exup elimination pipe, I looked at those but haven't bitten the bullet on one cuz my exup works perfectly at the min

Cheers pal, I'll defo look that up and have it done. Any mod possible I can't resist.
The exhaust was switched before I really had chance to open it up as it was slightly damaged, but with it off I can't find any faults whatsoever, seems to pick up speed very well and give it a bit more grunt from the can.The lad that had it before me had another go and he said it does seem to of made a noticeable power difference, but he downsized to a street triple and I think getting back on a sports bike give him a shock ha ha.

Had a quick look. Do you basically just saw the plastic flap of the airbox? Can see its gona give it loads more air intake. There any parts need to be bought?

Cheers pal, been reading up on it as much as I can and a few saying to mess about with fueling and buying a power commander and then to get it set up on a dyno. Thought it was going a bit to far for 6bhp.

Everyone likes messing with flaps, just that some prefer mud flaps [emoji13]
