Welcome along. :)

Are those - Michelin Pilot Roads you have on the bike? They look like PR2s

Nice colour scheme for that model

Thanks for the welcome guys. Much appreciated!!!

Yep, they are Pilot Road 3's. Theres the OEm Bridgestone RS10 on the front in the pics but its now a RP3 as well. I gotta go with a dual compound for sure around here. Theyyre so much better than the RS10s that came on it. 3200 miles and i had to change the rear. Plus they look good.

Nice looking bike mate.
What do you think to the big bang engine ? They remind me a little of 2 stroke type power.

I am just shocked anyone can get 3200 miles out of a rear tyre on a 1000, maybe I am just a throttle happy hooligan :shifty: :shifty:

Hehe. Its my first liter bike. Still havent even taken traction control off. Those could be reasons why. Hell, i thought 3200mi was a low number for a tire, haha. Ill try harder :)

Im very timid, sadly. In life, sometimes, and on the bike. Was getting pretty comfortable on the 06R6 but this monster is different. Only had her for 3 months though, i got time... Very confidence inspiring though, so stable and pin point on everything.

You may have noticed we are all individuals on here, some of us ride hard some of us don't. Its all about enjoying what we have and sharing it with friends. I for one love talking to guys I may never meet and listening to the story of their lives. If you ever choose to travel to the UK there will be plenty of offers of beds and booze. Can I ask you too post some pics of a Texas sunset and sunrise and share on here ;)

I'm a member of a US forum (not the main R1 forum!), and there's a few members who live where the roads are flat and straight. Are you anywhere near the Texas hill country?

Im probably 2 hours from that area. Im north of Dallas in Grayson County. I got left/banned from the main US "R1 dash forum". I was trying to get the Woolich sorted out and the furkin mod kept deleting posts from another trying to assist. If its not FTEcu then it gets deleted if details start getting listed (esspecially when discussing autotune and features not avail through FTECU). I told him where to stick it and left. Welp.. he banned me as well. I may have to make a day of it sometime and head down there.

I joined that forum but never posted anything. Not a nice place.

Sounds like you might need a trailer!

Indeed, I do need to find a nice motorcycle trailer. Would make it much less of a hassle getting to and from.

Yeah, the big forum is nice for finding out answers quick but that's about it. i should've kept my mouth shut and left with some grace. This place seems 1000% better.

thanks for the suggestion I'll have to keep that in mind. I may be able to circumnavigate the ip ban and get on with an alternate name with tapatalk. Just installing that. Seems like it would work.
