Yeah love it. It had to be that one!!! Only one I could find and had train it up to Sunderland to get it. I nearly went for a black one closer to home (nice too) but glad I made the effort. Knew it was right as soon as I got there. Riding it back same night was wrong tho for sure
Just seen you're now on an R1M. Beauty. Got a piccy?

Hi Gary,
As you get used to the bike(big bang) you'll discover they don't like low rev's.
Bit like v-twins really.
60mph =3rd gear.
I had an 07 r1 pulled like a train from 60 in top,then i got a big bang 12 plate with akrapovic's and in
the same sinario jerked like mad.
ps you've got a powerful bike for a first attempt take it slowly

Hi Andy,
Yeh wondered if the Akra's and extras would make it trickier but that's how she came.
Fine on and off the throttle from low to high but no fun maintaining constant revs below 5k once warmed up.
Love the cross-plane and way it works though so quietly confident I can improve the lower end some. I'll find out Tuesday!
Real careful at the mo. It's a handful and a half!

Told my lady a bike would help reduce the beer pod, keep me young and happy. I rest my case!!!
Thanks for the welcome Colin.
