Update -
It's been 3 weeks since I collected My first R1 and I'm well happy, It has everything I'm looking for in a bike.
Overall condition is excellent for its 13,000 miles apart from the body work fasteners which had some minor rusting. The exhaust bolts were corroded so badly I decided to grind off the remaining bolt heads and replace them before the system fell off!

So far I've fitted some Warrior rear sets, Renthal grips, replaced the confederate flag tank pad, changed many fasteners, replaced the old corroded R&G tail tidy and carried out an exup valve service followed up by a detailed cleaning with help of the Wife's tooth brush :D
just waiting for some nice weather now ;)
