The wheels aren't standard, they've had a bit of blue paint blended out from the spokes to the ally rim. Im sure its paint as its got a couple of flakey bits.
Tempted with powder coating, maybe white (waiting for more abuse...) but heard of horror stories about the heat treatment cracking the wheel...
Ok just to clear up on how fascinated you lot are with my shiny rims...Ive added these photos to my gallery, still not sure how to upload pics you can zoom in to?

Help on uploading pics would be nice, thank you.

I'll leave the carbon for a different post... I've got a few more bits I'm in the middle of making...seeing that it's my job to make carbon components, thought I'd have a few for myself

i've never seen it but theres a company that we do work for that makes or used to make carbon components (for martin baker ejector seats ) the lads at work tell me that one of they guys that works there has an R6 that he comutes on and has to keep covered up so the boss of the company doesn't see how much carbon he's borrowed , apparently !

No colour mods for me m8 - & I accept no responsibly for any suffering incurred by anything I may or may not have implied

(didn't mean to pee anybody off(said soz already

))
Sadly I'm too skint at the mo' to sort the idle(she's running sweet apart from the idle issue

)

I hid my exhaust for a few weeks but had it on there long enough now.
I make my own moulds and carbon bits at home now so no worries about hiding it all, just got to make it good enough not to get the piss taken at work.

I wouldn't mind a couple of tank infils but there's no way I'm paying the prices they charge plus they're rare as rocking horse sh!te .
looking forward to seeing the bike carboned up
