Some do a tank cover in the scheme you choose so you won't need to paint the tank

That looks luvly buddy, bit fancier than mine, mine doesnt say the mobile bit, just virgin in white and no advertising logos on belly pan ect.tail units just red too so ive ordered the R1 stickers in white for each side and the little r1 above the headlight in plain white.

lol,love guy martin,he's the boy!
well, just got back, freezing and nackered, long boring motorway and dual carriageway riding,
windy and freezing cold but all soooo worth it.
im in love!!!
goes like stink,handles sublimely,looks a million $$$ just speechless.
few little jobs to do on it,but hey, thats what we love, right?lol
make our mark and make them our own.overall i couldnt be happier lads.
its got a nice akrapovic can on,but its way to quiet for me.
i know the craftsmanship is second to none, and the lads with the aprilias love the akras or arrows,
but its only a decibel or 2 over standard.
whats a good nice can for the 5jj,nice sound without being too chavvy?
had scorpion and micron on my old one,but the games moved on alot since then.
i know alot dont like stubbys or g.p cans like sp engineering, they use to muck up the fuelling on the aprilias
as with the pulses they long a nice long can.
whats your thought guys?

Looks good, I like the paint scheme. [emoji3]
Yeah, they do go OK. Very happy with the Mivv slip on. I'll post a link to some photos next time I'm on my PC.
Looks like yours has a steering damper?

cheers guys, yeah it has a very nice harris damper fitted.
just dont like the blue bits on a red bike, look better black, levers, bar ends, paddock bobbins ect.
how much would the akra can sell for do you think, rough estimate?
i like mivvs,i had the carbon mivv g.p can on the mille and it was obscenely loud!
never seem to get to louda noise out of the r1 as i remember from my old bike after trying loads of different cans.
only time i did,was when i took the rivets out of my old micron carbon can and removed all the wadding,
that did sound well lol,for the few moments it was on,no good for performance, but wanted to hear it lol.

There are a couple of photos of the Mivv can at the start of this page:
viewtopic.php?f=38&t=6547&start=100" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; It comes with a dB killer riveted in and it's pretty quiet like that. But it sounds really good once you take that out. Not too loud though.
I bought it from an online store in Italy - the Ti can was on sale at about half price and cost about the same as the s/s one! Also, comparing notes with Jompy, the Ti comes with a link plate for the hanger so that you can get it parallel with the tail unit.

ive had sp engineering gp cans on the above zx9 c2 and 97 fireblade and they sounded very nice, specialy on the zx9!
not tried the pipewerx, what does it sound like buddy?a mate has a twin set up on his gen 1 rsv mille and he rates them very highly.i wasnt sure of the longish spout/outlet with the x in it but ive not seen one actualy in the flesh, just ebay pics.
you rate it then?
ill see if i can sell or swap the akra,if not ill cut it down i think.
may stick it on ebay and gumtree, see if anyones interested.
cheers for the helpfull info and pics muckers.

how much was it again?have you a link for it,as theres 1000's of pipewerx
i like the length and i like stainless cos its more bling to polish and shine up along with my polished rims and hanger ect.
