I paid 6000 for a standard 4c8 with less than 3000 miles on it, and i thought that was tad on the expensive side, think the price they are asking is a bit much.
Reguarding test rides i have never been allowed one ha, im 23 so nobody even took me seriously until i told them i would buy the bike. One kawasaki dealer once would have allowed me but only after a credit check, which i didnt bother with, too much hassle. I know you get a lot of reckless young riders but i think you also get a lot of older ones too, seems so wrong for dealers to generalize.

Got one!

After an hour and a half test ride i am now the proud owner of a red & white 2008 4c8 with 8000 miles. Picking it up tues.

Why did nobody tell me these bikes are so good?

I'll post a pic when i work out how (although you all know what they look like) then its off to the wanted section of the forum.

Need cans, decat pipe as a minimum, rearsets, levers etc later on.

Thanks all for your opinions.

Oh and hats off to Dave. An R1 at 26 is just silly.

I had a student railcard and a massive overdraft.
