Hi folks, just joined up, I have managed to get myself in an interesting position.
Just bought my first learner bike (a non Yamaha) with only 32 miles on the clock last week and inadvertently it is a 15 plate YZF ..... It obviously doesn't ' belong on a non Yamaha!
Just passed my Module 1 today and hope to get my module 2 in the next few weeks and don't plan to keep the Non Yamaha for long once I'm through module 2 .......but I don't plan on getting a YZF of any size as I'm not that keen on the sports bike positioning (I'm getting on in years).
Just wanted to run it past YZF owners if there was any interest for the plate once the time comes for me to move my current bike on?

+1 Luke & Sam - the clues in the title 'YamahaR.co.uk' which usually attracts 3 types of members
1) peeps who want/are getting an 'R' bike
2) peeps who already own an 'R' bike
Or
3) cunts who haven't heard of eBay trying their luck to flog their sh!t
Which one are you

Wow, didn't think 'YZF' owners were such a non stuck up, non judgemental, non reactionary and un-reasonable bunch.......
As it happens I tried to PM a moderator to find a way to offer it up for minimal pass on but it the forum wouldn't let me PM.
Was only looking to pass on the plate to a rightful home and not fleece anyone.
Just for your information, i'm not "against" your bikes ....I'm considering the Yamaha MT-07 as a first 'big bike' .... and tried to get the MT-125 as a learner but none was available in the area ......but then again since it's not a YZF you'll most likely throw the toys out the pram at that as well!
All the best, safe riding and hope your next sh!te is a hedgehog.
p.s I'll know to ignore the next YZF rider I meet as he'll most likely be a tw@t judging by the reaction in here

Well Mike, welcome, I am for once stuck for words.
Best of luck with your test, and enjoy your MT 07
One final point if I may, the guys on here are not tw@ts they are the salt if the earth, they will do anything they can to help fellow bikers, if someone has an off we will all search our garages to see if we have any spares to donate to the injured bike.
This is a fantastic forum, I'm sorry your first experiance if it was negative, but we have had a number if guys coming in here recently to flog us kitchens, number plates, you are not the first, and loads of other stuff besides. This is why you got the response you did.
We don't all ride Yamaha's on here, we have KTM's, numerous suzukis , even the odd Honda and yes loads of Yamaha's, not all of the R variery.
I know it is very unlikely that you will read this, but if you join another forum, get to know the guys before you try to flog them something ..... Believe me you will get a much better response.
Welcome
Stephen
