Welcome to the forum Jason, a nice little collection of bikes you have there, you must post up some pics as we are a nosey bunch.

This is a great forum, no clicks, members are helpful and quite knowledgable and we all have a good sense of humour.

Did you know that if you take the first letter of the month from July to November it spells JASON ..... But I bet you didn't know that if you take the first letters of the months December to June.......

It doesn't spell Stephen

Ok I'll get me coat.

Welcome to the forum

Stephen :D

Welcome in Jason
From a derby Lad , the 4xv's & 5jj's are more or less the same bikes and are amazing bikes for their age , enjoy :)
Heres a few tips i've written out for newbies ohh and a few of the lads have had very good results from some of the chinese fairing companies for £350-400 for a full fairing set including tank cover !
Those 5jj's are a lovely bike , they share a lot of parts with the 4xv like frame, wheels & engines are similar , things that are different are ECU , bodywork i.e. tank , fairing , seat unit & headlight also the radiator & wiring looms are different .
Check the main 20pin white plug on the wiring loom that sits behind the left hand fairing to make sure its in good order & been greased as these can cause problems , also DON'T tighten the sump bolt up to 42nm its a lot less more like 15-20nm .
get the service manuals and parts micro fiches for both the 4xv & 5jj downloaded , use the online PDF link & down load the parts manuals from there .
http://www.partzilla.com can be helpful for online parts micro fiches for getting part numbers & checking prices in the states you can then enter the partnumber into O.E.M part search on places like http://www.wemoto.com
enjoy :)
