Hi everyone,
i have just joined, i have been riding bikes along time now and have owned my 2000 R1 for a number of years,
as I'm getting older now i would prefer to own an upright, but i don't want to get rid of my old faithful so here goes,
has anybody put a MT-09 or a Buell X1 rear subframe on to the R1 frame for more comfort, i.e., my daughter hates siting so high,
also the best place to buy top yoke and fat bar risers, I'm going to go for a flat tracker streetfightin look, cheers for any info

welcome in paul
for a complete set of risers , yoke & cables try this place . had to google this one as the other place i had a link for the link doesn't work & someone not long ago said they had bad service so try these guys instead !

Just remember with you sat upright your daughter won't feel so high up , i'd do the top yoke first & then see if you need to chop the back end , R1's make great upright bikes .
Heres mine when i first got it

how the bike is now (need some better pics)

I obviously didn't do the streetfighter conversion on my 4vx but i wouldn't have any problems converting another , if i did i'd be keeping all the old plastics top yoke risers and stuff & i'd get second hand plastics & tank so that i could put it back to original if i sold it .
