Thinking of getting a Y pipe for my 2007 4c8 and just wondered what peoples experiences are with the different brands, some guy on a facebook group told me the Akrapovic ones are a b1tch to fit? PLus Akra Y costs a fortune.

What have people fit on here? Found this on ebay seems legit and only costs an arm, not an arm and leg!

Got a mivv on mine fitted well ,some of welds look a bit bird poo but £126 new wgaf

Whoever telt ya the Akra didn't fit well is talkin pish, I fitted mine no bother, perfect fit , couldn't a been easier, also I got it off a member on the old forum for a £100 so if you watch ebay or ask on here you may strike lucky

+1 for the mivv. I got mine new delivered for £100. Welds on mine are fine, fitted perfectly and my right leg no longer catches fire in the summer, so win win for me

Private deal mate from another forum member, Akra y pipes usually go for 80 to 120 on ebay they are 180 new so not that much more than the one above , and there titanium , weigh next tae nought lol

What are the Mivvs made out of then cheese?

I have no idea , the ones in your link look like stainless , which will be fine , just depends on what your lookin for, I have no experience on the mivv or any other just saying that the akra does fit fine and you can get em cheap 2nd hand now , im sure the mivv be fine goin by what the lads are saying

I just want the extra noise to be fair lol, will i need a remap after its installed, someone on a FB group told me it would run crap if i just change the pipe

No trouble from the Po leece?! or aint it obnoxiouslt loud

Ionly ask cos i got pulled for noise with a set of Toce cans on, and that was with the cat in lol

No probs went thru mot with them on no baffles
