Take a punt on Hotel Bazar. Went for a meal in the one in Rotterdam - absolutely fantastic. The hotel gets good reviews too.

I've stayed at a themed hotel in the centrum, weird as fook and if I can recall the name of it I will tell you. ffs the brain is tired

i messed the link up but lookup lelystad on google an you'll see the road that runs through the sea best bit of my trip also ripped a few routes of best biking road into the tom tom for safe bets.
