Hello All
Been lurking on here and the previous site tying to make my mind up if buying an R1 was the right way to go. My previous bike was a GSXR 1000 K6 (sold last year) which served me very well completing several trips to Europe with my wife. Well after much deliberation I have bought an 08 4c8 which I will collect in the next few weeks. Looking forward to this new venture, trip to the NW200 already booked.
Look forward to meeting some of you on here and in person.

Hi m8, welcome to our version of madness.
The 4c8 is a good bike, hope you like revs as it aint got the gsxr's mota, you will find her bigger and better built and much more of a racer.
Just the ticket for your part of the world, when you get her and it gets warmer we will have a meet up in the boarders, should be fun

Yes I will be at the Knockhill BSB round, I live at the bottom of the road on the north side.
