Hey up everyone,

The names Chris, I reside in sunny Sheffield and have recently purchased a 2006 black R1 5vy,

After having a go on my mates I needed 1 in my life, a stunning bike, really pleased with it.

I also own a 2006 Gen 2 Aprillia Tuono which is awesome, the 2 bikes mirror each other perfectly giving me the best of both worlds,
A fantastic naked and a super sports

Prior to these I've owned a cb50, cb100, rd125lc all as a young un, and a er650n, slr 650, and the tuono and R1.

Looking forward to browsing the forum, and learning about these bikes from those in the know

Cracking first post
The 5vy's are a cracking bike , Pod has turned his carbon goddess into a track bike but there should still be pic's up of how it looked !
i fancied a Tuono well it was between that the speed triple or the super duke but i had no money , the half-one came up & i almost had to sell my right testicle to buy it but buy it i did !
The wife before i met her liked them too & was thinking of selling her heartless 900 hornet to get one but she found the Ducati 796 hypermotard instead .
i hope you enjoy the forum as much as i do , join in & have a laugh
