Hi all, just bought my 2nd R1, stupidly sold the last one last year and egretted it ever since. Last bike was a 1999 4XV with a full akra system, Kit CDI, factory pro ignition advancer, dynojet kit, Ohlins damper etc. Stupidly Sold it to fund my racing addiction (F400)

Got offered a red/white 98 4XV for a price i couldnt turn down so bought it earlier today, trying to leave this one as near standard as possible and just look after it, although i will be fitting a steering damper

Thanks lads. Yeah I will be looking for a standard can and screen/discs eventually (to store, I prefer a DB screen and the micron sounds pretty good) but no rush, just gonna enjoy it when the weather allows. Annoying thing is I had all of that from my previous one and gave it away

Looks very nice, stick a note on the dash of this one to remind you not to sell it!
