Hi everybody, new here,currently ride a Ducati 1098 but its getting traded in for a 2012 R1 50th anniversary on the 10th of March.been riding bikes since God were a lad started out on off road bikes competing in Trials then at 17 I hit the road on a Suzuki TS 250ER,that got written off after about a year and an X7 replaced it,then the first of the LC350s that lasted 3 weeks till it got nicked and was replaced with another which lasted about 8 months and that got written off as well.quite a break then till 1999 and I decided I needed another bike so I bought a Honda Blackbird,then had a Kawasaki ZX12R, followed by 2Fireblades an RR2 and an RR7 which brings me up to the 1098.Ive had it for a couple of years now and apart from the crippling service costs (not what they tell you before you buy one) and the fact I cant ride it for more than an hour I love it but sadly it has to go and as said before its being replaced with a very sexy anniversary R1. Did I forget to mention the ZX12 R got written off as well.
..............oh and best thing to do to a ZX12 is write it off,i know cos got one in my garage
