Hi everyone.
I’ve just joined and wanted to say a quick hello to you all. Bare with me whilst I find my way around the place, and inevitably make a few boo boo's.
All the best

Welcome in steve
Have a good look around mate & ask if you need any help so then we can take the piss
get a bit up about your biking history & post some pics
get yourself a free photobucket account & follow the idiots guide to posting pics from your pc
posting.php?mode=reply&f=6&t=10659
if you don't want to open a photobucket account then an alternative is go to
http://tinypic.com/
1 - "choose file" and browse to the image you wish to upload from your PC
2 - In the "resize" drop down choose either 15" or 17" screen (15 is enough and fast too)
3 - Press "upload now" where it will ask you to type in a couple of words to confirm you are a human being and not an automated program.
4 - Once done copy the text from the "IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards" field
5 - Then just paste it exactly as is in to your message.
or you can post direct from your not so smart phone using tapawank (tapatalk) it's great for posting pic's & notifications but wank for viewing the forum

Re: another steve
Welcome to the forum Steve from yes you've guessed it, another Steve, who is well into his fifties . Ignore colon ....
seriously though, but don't tell him he is a good chap really.
This forum caters for all age groups and the good thing is that we help and support one and other, it's a real biking family, some people come here like it and stay, join in with the banter, have a laugh and sadly some don't stay.
So as the guys have said tell us about your biking history, how you arrived at an R1 being your preferred choice of motorcycle, what riding you do, yes some of us do track days, others don't, some guys race, some ride only in the roads, at the end of the day we all ride the bikes where we want and get most enjoyment from. There will always be someone faster than you out there and someone slower, again we all tide at our own pace .
Oh and going back to my friend Colon....... To quote Eric Morecambe but with a slight twist " I type all the right letters, but not necessarily in the right order" Humm......
So welcome to the mad house
Stephen
He thinks he is a comedian but the only thing laughable about him is his ridingLOCKE wrote:Welcome in mate, fumble about and as Sam says get some pics up. We have another Steve on here that got a language of his own, apparently it's the keypads fault.![]()

I'm led to believe Steve is his 'real' name. If not Pete/Daphne/Dave/Cock will correct me.Kylezx7r wrote:Does Petepassion have a Steve in his list of alter ego's ?

Anyway, welcome Steve, if you ever get fed up with your name, I can highly recommend Pete, as it serves me far better than Dave, George, cock or even Daphne.
Nothing wrong with a few boo boo's...far better than poo poo's.
Dive in and enjoy...although I do recommend a highly protective thick skin, a kinda full length condom to protect you from the various mental health conditions that are so easily and subliminally contracted from the yamahar1 forum. There are a few here who have come to terms with their condition, and as they say...acceptance is the first step to recovery. But it's the ones in denial, those who believe everything is ok...they're the ones you have to watch out for.
...anyway, must go, the nurse is giving me that funny look again...I've asked for a placebo as there's fewer side effects and nearly as effective.

Re: another steve
There are no 'real' names, just like nearly everything we experience is a creation of the mind to allow us to survive in the material world. the names only exist when you hear or read them...which makes them an attachment depending upon who should award the name, and any name can be given. When there are no names then only the person remains, unchained from all appropriated societal protocol and law...in fact, remove the physical being and then even the natural laws no longer apply...I can't wait for that oneLOCKE wrote:I'm led to believe Steve is his 'real' name. As far as Dave is concerned I don't think it matters what name he uses he will answer to anything

Poor Steve , that's Steve the newbie, not Stevie the scrappy or Steve the Dave or Steve the Troy it even me fir that matter,
Must think that we are all as mad as a barrel load of frogs, and I don't mean the French variety
