hello folks, been meaning to do this for a while but a post on FB R1 group reminded me about it.

In the midlands with a 2007 R1, look forward to meeting some of you when summer arrives :)

had a quick browse, looks a decent site and mainly infested with UK folk so no f***ing stretched swing arm abortions!!!!! bloody yanks!!!!

anyway, rearsets, used the search tool and too many pages to search so i'll ask here, whats a reasonably priced rearset as I don't have gilles money :) (to fit a 4c8)

Steve, it would be worth starting a new thread with this question in it as that would get more people's attention I.e. It would be more obvious as a question and hit them in the face so to speak.

I had some cheaper than gillis rearsets on my 4c8 but I can't remember the name of them, what I do recall, and those days I did shed loads of miles, over 45,000 on the 4c8 in under two years is that they didn't last half as well as the gillis I had on my 5vy which did over 65,000 miles in under three years.... My memory ain't what it used to be but as Hercule Poirot would say..... I will get my little grey cells working :D

Try usual places I picked a set Gilles off flee bay for £200 and a set of sato racing ones for my r6 for £120

Still can't remember the name of them but the gear shift rod didn't go through the frame like the OE rod as can be seen on the pic below
