Hello, I'm a wally. I ride a red 2001 5JJ R1 and enjoy equal time spent on road and on track. She's being slowly and as cheaply as possible upgraded and currently sports K-tech springs to my weight, yokes dropped 5mm, Wilbers race rear shock, Full titanium Akrapovic 4-1 system, stubby brake levers. Over winter I have bought and are now ready to fit, BMC race filter, Dynojet stage 1 kit, race sintered brake pads, lightweight Lithium battery, AIS block off plugs to remove AIS and a new conti race attack street rear tyre (190/55). All of this so far stands me at £550

....should have bought a race bike and stuck an MOT on it....
Plans for the bike are to make her lighter and handle and brake better - so any tips are greatly received.

Going off your list of parts you have already and what you want it to do I'd suggest looking for some lightweight wheels, not cheap I know but one of the best mod's to do IMO
