Hello ! New to the site (although I could of sworn I signed up in 2011 for this forum)

Owned my R1 since 2007, it's a 2005 Black Raven edition (I think)

Used it on the road for the first couple of years, and then took it off the road to use as a track toy.

It's back on the road though this weekend for its mot in readiness for the TT this year. Can't wait.

Iv spent the last week re fitting the number plate & rear indicators, removing the tape off the lights, re fitting the mirrors, re connecting the headlights & re fitting the pillion footrests.

Iv removed the slicks and had some Michelins put on, oh and fitted a quick shift kit I got for Xmas.

My little beauty has done just shy of 8000mls and lives in my kitchen.

I have a little issue with the bike atm but will start another thread for that.

If I remember correctly the original yamahaR1 site went down in late 2011 loosing everything , in early 2012 Mike with Bubs & Ginger Jon (2002r1jon ) started this site up , it still took the miserable barstewards a year or so before they invited me back
Same sh!t as before only better , we need pics & biking history and get stuck in
