Hi to everyone

A big hello to everyone on the forum. I've been using the site for a few months now, mainly to get some info on 2016 R1 delivery dates and manuals. I've had a Yamaha since 1995, firstly a YZF750 then I got a new R1 in 2002 which I still have and enjoy (the photo was taken last year at Pembrey). I ordered a 60th Anniversary R1 last December and was told today that she is at the dealers and will be ready for collection by 30th April. Can't wait to get her. I saw one at the NEC last year, got myself a wintery test ride on a 2015 R1 and put down a deposit.

Welcome to the forum Stephen, great name and spelt correctly too
. Cracking opening post, you won't be disappointed with your anniversary, the new R1's and a fantastic machine, silky smooth, powerful and really really easy to ride, and I do mean really easy to ride. Post up some pics when you pick her up and most of all enjoy the bike.
