				Hi there,
Just placed deposit on an 04 R1 (5pw i think). Always wanted one and after a years no claims insurance isn't too much.
Currently drive a cbr600f (99-00) which is a great bike, can't fault it.
Peace

				Send us some cake m8.....
Think you will find the R1 a bit more than that Honda, should wake you up in the mornings

. Which ever bike you end up with I am sure you will have fun, as Luke says could be the 5VY, but who knows until we see the photos
What is it with R1 owners and living in Scotland
Luke the clue is in the title

Finally, a busy bike forum. Before bikes I was into cars and every forum was booming. Got cbr, went on forum and totally dead, this forum seems lively.
Here are some pictures, pick it up next Saturday. Hopefully you guys can tell me more about it.

Spec is nothing special.
Akra exhaust
R&G bobbins
R&G tail tidy
New clutch and brake levers
Steering damper
And possibly a couple more things.

Like anything mate, I got used to the 110bhp CBR and felt slow so needed more power but don't get me wrong, perfect first bike and will always love Honda.
