Hi Meta 357 help!

Post by MarkR1D »

Hi I've got an 03 R1 5PW its been off the road for a couple of years and now I've got the problem that loads seem to have - the battery in the Meta 357 alarm has died. I don't want to fit a new alarm as the bike will only be used on track. Through various forums and YouTube I have bridged wires 1 and 2 and wires 3 and 4. The engine turns over but will not start. Am I missing something or could it be an unrelated problem?

Yes and they tried to sell me a connector block for £40. I don't mind spending the money but it's pointless if it just bridges 1&2 and 3&4 wires. They don't supply the Pdf wiring diagram anymore.
