Just joined and the Suns out so all good... I have just changed from an 04 Fireblade to an 05 Lava red R1 with only 5k on the clock and she goes like a rocket lol

I'm from Kent so any others from down south?

if you don't want to open a photobucket account then an alternative is go to

1 - "choose file" and browse to the image you wish to upload from your PC
2 - In the "resize" drop down choose either 15" or 17" screen (15 is enough and fast too)
3 - Press "upload now" where it will ask you to type in a couple of words to confirm you are a human being and not an automated program.
4 - Once done copy the text from the "IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards" field
5 - Then just paste it exactly as is in to your message.

or you can post direct from your not so smart phone using tapawank (tapatalk) it's great for posting pic's & notifications but wank for viewing the forum "

5VY is a nice move in the right direction
Don't worry about Kyle, since they've told him he is being kept in a padded van and not a padded cell, he's starting to think he's just like everyone else...he's just reaching out...much better than reaching around
Unfortunately, this is what you have to look forward to if you continue in your quest for all things Yamaha.
,,,personally I'd buy a Kawasaki, much safer and less long term psychological damage...although you may end up with the odd broken neck or two.

I had the exact same model and colour, just had the Akrapovic cans...sounded sweet.

Cracking bike Lee, and for me the best colour of the 5vy, i had one a few years ago and they go on and on and on, they are like the little Duracell bunny, keep them services and they won't let you down.

Lol I take it nobody else's has a noisier gear then lol has 3 months warranty but doubt they would do anything with a noise lol normally get the yeah mate they all do that

I too have a 5vy and am just coming to grips with it.[emoji16] [emoji28] [emoji28] There are a few good discussions and tips for mods etc on the 5vy on here. If you have'nt already read them, then do so. [THUMBS UP SIGN][THUMBS UP SIGN] Well worth it if you wanna start modding. [emoji12] [emoji108] [emoji106] [emoji106]

Thanks fella. Just been out for a blast again and just seems to whine between 3-4k rpms in second so will just leave it I think as can't see they will do anything with a noise and no failure. Will have to start riding with ear plugs and get a loud exhaust lol

But my God is she fast. Tries lifting the front wheel in third on some rds, making my 04 fireblade feel like a 600cc pmsl
