Newbie from Ireland

Post by Wilbert »

Hi eveyone...
Been lurking here for awhile, thaught it was only polite to make a formal introduction!
Names "Wilbert"
Working as a maint tech in the food industry, do most of my own bike maintenace, or rebuilding (track bike!!)

Bought a red/white 4xv awhile back plan is to restore it 2 original condition! Been following carson's project for inspiration and other projects aswell alot of great info and advice on the forum. Thanks to eveyone for sharing it'll be invaluable on my own project.

Current bikes i own 98 4xv r1, 99 r6 5eb track bike, 08 cbr600rr enjoy gettin to as much irish road racing rounds as possible as well as the tt and moto gp's! Get 2 the track 5/6 times a year on my r6 5eb and can hold my own among the intermediate group!

Looking forward 2 sharing my project with ye and contributing 2 others if i can be of assistence.
Wilbert

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome much appreciated!

Yeah ill definetly do a build thread for the R1, just after building a new house and garage so im busy trying to get the garage reasonably finished so i can start the r1!

Have a thread for the garage build on garage journal forum if anybodys interested!
http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/show ... ow+ireland" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Abit more done since my last update plastered inside, porcelain tiled the floor ;) still have 2 paint, wire it, benches etc. Etc. Etc. Etc

Trying to upload pics (for an hour now) :x is it possible for an admistrator to activate it so i can upload direct? As i generally dont post my bike pics on social media that i could tag a link to, and am not setting up a drop box acc..

Cheers Wilbert

As Sam has mentioned the easiest way is using tappatalk on ya mobile, we don't allow direct upload on here im afraid as is uses up valuable space
