Hi all, well my local dealership are ordering my 2016 60th anniversary edition tomorrow, R1 has been my dream bike since they were realised never could afford one till now.

I used to work for a yamaha dealership in 98 always had yamaha dt125 air cool was my first bike then tzr125 a tzr250 gutted I sold that a thunder cat, an mt-09 which is my current bike, and now the mighty R1 I'm so excited, looking for a decat, then I have a chap whole gonna flash the ecu add the auto blipper for extra smiles

Welcome to the forum Jay, post up some pics when you get your anniversary , there have been lots of discussion on here regarding decats, with the ackrapovic on and decatted the bike is very noisy , that said, with the cat in place it's too quiet.....

Welcome

Stephen

I guess for the road I'll have it noisy, a friend of mine just scraped through brands on his 2000 R1 with the standard can, it's ridiculous how quite we have to be at track days
