Thought it only right to post in the newbie section first before trying to sell any tat that I have.
Bought a 2016 R1 for the specific purpose to use it on track and possible one last hooray in racing.
Hugely impressed with the electrics on the bike, and standard suspension hasn't let me down yet.
Decided its time to strip off the standard bodywork etc and make the conversion during these wet miserable months.
The bike is in Kenny Robert's colours with an Akrapovic end can, so if anyone is interested drop me a pm.
Id post a pic, but think that's beyond my capabilities

Welcome in Diggler. Not your average forum this and plenty to be enjoyed!!! You'll probably have to master the pic posting if you want to sell this lot stuff!! Only took me 5 minutes so it must be simple

Have some fun along the way mate.

Welcome in Diggler
You'll have to post a certain amount before you can sell & we don't really like people joining just to sell so i hope your thinking of sticking around .
As for pic's
get yourself a free photobucket account & follow the idiots guide to posting pics from your pc
posting.php?mode=reply&f=6&t=10659
if you don't want to open a photobucket account then an alternative is go to
http://tinypic.com/
1 - "choose file" and browse to the image you wish to upload from your PC
2 - In the "resize" drop down choose either 15" or 17" screen (15 is enough and fast too)
3 - Press "upload now" where it will ask you to type in a couple of words to confirm you are a human being and not an automated program.
4 - Once done copy the text from the "IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards" field
5 - Then just paste it exactly as is in to your message.
or you can post direct from your not so smart phone using tapawank (tapatalk) it's great for posting pic's & notifications but wank for viewing the forum

Hi, welcome to the forum.
My only issue with the grifter was the unintentional gear changing when trying to wheelie.
Pete.

Been involved in bikes in one form or another for over twenty years. I've done my time racing at club level, and have been lucky enough to win at times.
In recent years my time spent on track has solely been trackdays, however do have the urge to have one last throw at the dice.
Ride almost ever day as I commute into work on a Multistrada which puts a smile on my face every time I throw a leg over it.
Next years plan is once the R1 is converted into track spec is to do a couple of Euro events, a number of UK track days and possible wildcard in some races.

I think those anniversary colours look great but why buy the Anni model and then put track fairings on it , aren't the Anni's more expensive than the standard model ?
Good luck with the racing & as Clarky says a few of the lads do track days here & abroad and a couple race

I'm a good customer where I bought the bike, I wanted an R1 and they were prepared to sell me this one the same price as a standard bike.
Fairings will be sold and someone else can get the enjoyment from them
