Welcome to the forum John, as Jompy says the 5vy is a cracking bike, I loved mine. The underseat pipes are a work of art.

Now what colour did you get, colour really does affect performance [emoji3]

Had a few bikes in the past

Started with a Fs1e then had a rd125lc, rd250lc, fzr1000 genesis, then a yzf750sp been about 5 years since i've had a bike but always fancied an R1

Live justy on the North Wales border so have plenty of nice roads on my doorstep :)

With a surname like Evans the chances were that your from Wales :lol:
