Managed to pick up a cancelled order R1M due for delivery in a weeks time. Coming from a Panigale and it will be 17 years since my last R1.
Based in Bristol and plan to use as weekend fun and the odd track day. On that note anyone passed a noise test at Castle Doom?

Welcome to the forum Simon , you will love your M , regarding the noise test I can't answer, but with the cat removed the ackrapovic system us offensively loud , but the guys in here will advise as they have tried other more acceptable systems .
Enjoy your new toy and post some pics of her and your current and previous bikes up
Welcome

As move as I loved the pani it was too loud for most track days, boiled your gentlemen bits in town and only really worked honing it on track. And even then despite have the suspension set up properly wanted to spit you off at every opportunity.
Having said that I was still a couple of seconds a lap quicker on the pani than on the RSV4.
The R1 also has a bit of nostalgia for me being my first proper superbike (well it was back in the day).
