Welcome to the forum, tell us about your biking history, what bikes you have had, what you liked, didn't line, how you arrived at getting an R6, which is a cracking bike, and in black .... I loved mine [emoji3]

Welcome

Hello everyone, ok here it goes....
My first bike was a Yamaha pw50 when I was 7 :) which started my love for bikes. From there I got a 50cc Yamaha moped when I was 16, then moved to an Aprilia rs 125 when I turned 17.
In 2002 I passed my full bike license, I was 18 at the time and managed to buy a 2002 R6 which was restricted for 2 years :(
I sold my R6 in 2010 when kids came along and tuck a step back from bikes till now. And this is how im now here with my 07 R1.
Some may say 7 years without riding and going straight to the R1 is daft, but I feel it was the right choice as that's what ive always wanted since I got my RS 125 back when I was 17 :) and a fairly sensible rider :)
And that's my story :P

As for likes and dislike ive loved all my bikes apart from maybe the moped lol.
The RS125 was a cracking little bike could really throw it around corners, just lacked power.
The r6 well I think anyone that knows about bikes can not have a bad word to say about them great bike all-round.
The r1 still need to get used to it and set it up correctly, as the turn in seems abit sluggish. Top end is insane.

Glenn.

Welcome in Glenn and congrats on the R.

Some might say passing your test, getting a train up north and riding your new R1 home 350 miles through the night with knackered throttle bodies is daft. And theyd be spot on but Im still grinning about it[emoji3].

Enjoy mate[emoji1303]
