Hi everyone just bought myself a 2007 R1 having been off bikes for around 4 years had Gixxers but decided the R1 looks so much better so here i am, briefly owned a FZ1 last year but decided to sell it on.
Looking to do a few track days and a few rides out if the potholes get filled

Cheers lads just had my first run out in over 4 years and cant quite get my head around how quick these R1's are

Hopefully wont take to long to get my head round it
As for making it go quicker there is no need at present

defo needs some changes to setup feels to hard and the braking is taking a bit getting used to. One other small problem is the throttle take up needs adjusting theres around 10mm of movement with out throttle, apart from that very happy with my new toy was pissing myself laughing when it got over 10,000

Well done Kev.
You've found a cracking good bike and forum to hang around in.
I went straight in at the deep end of Yamaha just like yourself.
I have the 14B Xkrank and it converted me to R1s completely .
