Some of you may have noticed a new like button at the bottom of all posts, I added this at the request of several members.

However I today took the difficult decision to depreciate this new Likes button feature, I just couldn't get it working 100% how I wanted to and the obvious answer was to change the function of the Thanks for Post (thumbs up and down) to a Like feature as it makes much more sense.

Hope this meets with all your approval, if not have a moan here and we can discuss a way forward.

it didnt make sense to me to have a thanks and a like system.

and the new like system wasn't popping up how it should be when you clicked on the link, and well with facebook around Like seems more appropriate than Thanks anyway (but basically means the same think in facebook terms)

Anyway, I spend 6 hours over the last 2 days trying to sort the first idea out, and 2 minutes changing the thanks for posts to a like for posts.

I now wish I had just done it earlier ! LOL

Get this error when trying to view a members profile

HI R1ch all fine for me, can you clear your cache, I have removed the Ajax Like mod, so there function shouldn't even be mentioned.

If after clearing your cache, trying another browser the problem persists then I will look through the code for any orphaned code.

R1Ch it all works fine here, tried it on several machines now, all perfect ??? I will ask the other admins if they are having issues, what browser are you using ?

Is anyone else having issues when clicking on members names to look at their profiles ?

Dave / R1ch what browser is it ? and you definately have cleared your cache haven't you ?

I just am not getting the error in any browser I am using Chrome/FF/IE but have logged a ticket with the now depreciated Ajax Like Mod to see if he can advise.

I don't get it why are you getting the problem and I am not ?

have you definately gone into the browser settings and removed the cache ?

Take it that is the complete message and only when you click on an iindividual user and not on the members button itself ?

Edit: i get the same pressing on my own name too

Bubu, R1ch, Dave - are you definately clearing your browser cache in your browsers settings ? as I cannot understand how some users are getting it and not others ?

Just cleared my cache, restarted Laptop, clicked on your name and bingo, message below appears. Good luck Mike
