A quick hello

Hi all i'm Alex (obviously), new member from Kent. I'm sure I joined a forum with a similar name a few years back when I had a brief spell on a 125 but hey ho.
Left a deposit on a new R1 and this seems to be the best place for info, been having a look around the past few days.
Here's hoping we have a good summer

I'll take some when I go and have a look at it being pdi'd. Really looking forward to it. I have a couple of pics but they're in the showroom with accessories i'm changing. Hopefully keep this for a while as I never seem to have a bike more than 5 mins

Cheers, I have a few favourite routes
Here's the pics as it is atm
The screen is hideous and was first on my list of changes
Didn't even intend buying one, a friend was test riding a street triple so thought i'd take one of these out as i've loved the looks and sound since they were released in '09. Test rode the new GSX-R1000 last summer when my Speed Triple broke down and was disappointed with the power delivery and I was expecting more from a litre bike. I guess having owned a 750 with -1 +2 sprockets killed that for me. Anyway, as soon as we got out of town and could get a move on, I was immediately impressed with the poise and power of the bike, never laughed so hard on a motorcycle so had to have one.
