Newbie in Norfolk

Evening all,

Well I have to admit it, I feel I now have a bike that I love.. I am seriously impressed with this bit of kit, my 2009 'Big Bang' R1

I took her in PX of my previous S1000RR (don't fall for the hype) as I wanted a more entertaining yet different bike and with the first twist of the throttle I loved it. Instant acceleration and a sound to fear and love!

Once I find out how to upload pics I will post one.....

Shes only got 2700 miles, 1 owner, private plate, FULL Two Brothers system, DB dark tint screen, tail tidy, yam seat cowl and a set of HID lights (which I wont keep). I intend on doing a few more mods, carbon, power commander/bazzaz, quickshifter, various cosmetic changes etc etc...

So watch this space and let me know if theres a ride or meet in the area!!

Cheers, Dan

haha, like that is it with the 'RED' frame? I personally don't mind it, its different. If it does annoy me (which it probably wont) its nothing a quick spray cant fix!

Nothing else matters then mate, nowerdays it's about being happy with what suits you. My old s1000rr cost me £10'000, hated it. Admittedly the r1 was a only a bit less but so much better even tho it's cheaper! Go figure..

Il have to come over at some point and take a proper look at the 2 wheels! I didn't notice any mods as you came past the other day?

No mate that can't be ours,as he,s quiet .... It's only when he sees someone and then he go's ape ... Plus you would not hear him where you live..... Mods so far on mine are.. Removed the rear pegs gold chain and sprockets, braided brake lines changed a lot of bolts and fixings for stainless ones....de-cat and flash tuned .... Just brought a set of ASV leavers and should be here tomorrow... And there are a few more but can't remember lol.....Now if you want to see a modded 14b Russ should be around and he's got a real modded one :)... He's from Lynn as we went for a little run out last night ....

Yea as for coming over to take a look at mine give us a shout mate and take a wonder across the road.....

As for the other chap we will all have to meet up and have a ride out! And a beer at the feathers?

Il pm you my mobile number if you like?
