06 kenny roberts , was looking for a blade and came across the r1 low mile good price and i part exed the gixxer . The R1 felt much better for me.
Gonu sort a few bit outs like tyres, suspension, zorst , sprockets, pc etc. Then it should be as nimble as my track bike

Robets 5VY R1, good choice, lots of money to be spent if she is standard and you want her to handle like your track bike 
Enjoy the bike and this forum, plenty of info help if you are in need of it
