Hi folks. I'm new to this site and would like to introduce myself as I have got myself my first R1 and I'm always looking for advice when purchasing a new bike. I'm 43 and been riding for 8 years. I've had a range of different bikes, CBR600, GSXR750, Ducati 999s, Z1000, GSXR1000, Tuono and now the R1. The bike is 07/08 model and I got it with fairly low miles. It's an American import but registered new in UK and is matt grey/black. It is a stunning bike and has taken a bit of getting used to after the v twin tuono. Looking forward to being back on a proper sports bike though and picking up as much useful info as possible from the site and followers.
