Hi guys, motorbike courier from Manchester. ST1300 for work (117000 miles last year mot to mot) 03 R1 for pleasure. 02 kx80 for fun with the kids. Previous owner of R1 spent 5k on bits and dyno graphs show 162 bhp at back wheel. My first R1 but 19th bike. Sold zzr1100 which I took down the strip at Santa pod 11.1/126mph so looking to improve on that with a few more mods on the R1. Any advice greatly welcomed.
Already has graves full titanium exhaust, graves velocity stacks and air filter, power commander with 4 maps, engine ported and polished, advanced ignition, valve reshapeing and clearance squish reduced, racing nitron rear shock, hyperpro steering damper. Want acceleration improvements not top end ! Laters

Yeah thanks. Joys of being self employed I'm afraid. The more miles I do the more I get paid. I've had days where I've done over a thousand miles and been in the chair 22 hours. Delivered stuff to France, Spain and the Isle of white ! And did you know that it's possible from south Manchester to travel over 500 miles north to a town in Scotland ? Neither did I until I did it !! Only had the R1 a month so still gettin to grips with it

Welcome in Gary
Sounds like your R1 could take some getting to grip's with lol surprised with all that time in the saddle you could be arsed to ride another bike .
