Hi, I'm Alex and was previously a member of the old forum and just stumbled across this newer one. I have a 2009 R1 which I bought last summer and and put some mods on it over the last 4-5 months. I recently took the plunge and brought a Chinese body kit for £360 delivered because I wasn't keen on the standard colours and wanted a spare for track days etc. Its virtually an exact copy of the 2010 "Rossi" LE model and I'm really happy with the fit and quality of it.

Other mod include; Akra cans, decat pipe, Flashtune & quickshifter, 1 tooth off front sprocket and 1 off rear, other cosmetic sh!te that can be seen in the pic.

Welcome in Alex great looking bike, I've spoken to a couple of people about the Chinese body kits and they said the same good quality stuff.

Thanks guys, the body kit was a gamble and quality of chinese stuff can vary quite a lot so I hear.

Fit isn't perfect, nor is the paint finish in some places but I'm very happy overall. Value for money is amazing when you consider the shipping it must cost them. Every other panel/airtube covers/undertray etc is included unpainted.

Welcome in Alex, thank god your another 14B owner, too many people on here with slow older models about time someone with more modern equipment turned up Bike looks sweet btw and liking the Chinese Panels, thinking of getting some myself.

Not at all Mike they were hardly used,think its the same guy anyhow,hey Mike whats the script with regards to selling bits on here,do you have to have a certain amount of posts or been registered for a period of time,only reason i ask is i've got some Rizoma rearsets that i bought and never fitted so someone else may aswell get the use of them.

Damo,the script is that you have to give everything to me that you were thinking of selling

Yeah they were good thanks, I think my EXUP seized so I needed another set of downpipes before putting the old girl up for sale.
