Well the price was really good, brought it last year from a BMW dealer for £3200. The downside was 32,000 miles, but one owner and full service history. The chap who had it before only used it for commuting, so nice chicken strips and squared tires

Welcome in Andy, there's a good few 4c8 owners on here and a few of us have done the odd rebuild, usually after a crash mind you. Tell us a bit about her, colour spec etc

Well, colour is black and completely standard. At the moment I'm doing the swing-arm bearing, and getting the forks and shocks rebuilt by K-Tech. Nothing fancy just an overhaul, I do have some braided lines ordered, to sort the brakes.
The bike is great, coming from a GSXR 750 K6 the leap in torque and sillyness is amazing, keeping the front wheel down is fun
Yes, jompy, looking at reflash's and quick shifts, I hate temptation

you need to give into temptation, a set of cans, decat and a flash-tune make a huge difference to the amount of sillyness ... the sillyness start at much lower revs
only problem with the 4c8 is aftermarket bits and pieces are generally more expensive than lesser models

.. but the price of admission is worth it
