Hi everyone.
I've been on this forum for about a month now, and got a lot of info I was looking for

Thought I best introduce myself.
I'm a 27M and live in Gosport (near Portsmouth)
I've got a grey 5VY with a few minor mods:
Adjustable levers
Billet mirrors
Carbon exhaust heat shields
LED indicators all round
Mods I'm planning:
De-cat exhaust
Hi flow air filter (prob k&n)
Velocity stacks (factory pro when I can source some in the UK!)
Rizoma fuel cap (ordered a Chinese copy, so gonna see how that looks before spending the £140 Rizoma want!)
Maybe some new rearsets
If anyone knows where I can get the factory pro stacks in the UK, that would be amazing.

Welcome in Adrian,as for the velocity stacks try Pete Beale (r16uru on ebay) and as for your fuel cap try 'R1 yec' in ebay and some very nice ones there, even state your own colour & engraving too i think upon ordering

Thanks for the welcomes

I've emailed r16uru to see if he can source some velocity stacks.
I've seen some stacks on eBay-
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/140800026882? ... 1423.l2649 which are apparently the same length as the factory Yamaha racing ones, but I think they're shorter than the factory pro ones (anyone know the length of FP's? I think somewhere says 60mm). Anyone purchased these ones?
The fuel cap I've ordered is this one-
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/330903661501? ... 1439.l2649
Some of the pics of it look fine, some look a bit iffy, so I'll see what it's like. For £24 I cant really complain.
I'll keep an eye out for you @lex, don't seem to be many R1's in Gosport

Thought I'd post some pics of the bike and my mods

Here she is:

The mods:
Carbon heat shields on standard cans and a decatted pipe:

CNC levers :

The HID light conversion and headlight tinting (and the CNC mirrors):

The headlight tint is a perforated film that looks a bit like a grill. It's road legal, will pass an MOT and doesn't affect the light output
