Found this forum after a long time using the American R1 Site (a very good site indeed).

I have a '99 R1, however far from standard...

R7 Race fairing/Fender
Race seat unit 5JJ
Carbon Undertray/Hugger
Braced swingarm
Powder coated frame/arm
Translogic Dash
520 Conversion
WP Shock
K-Tech fork internals/Re worked forks
Brembo M/C, braided hoses, dry locks, Motul RBF Fluid
Billet rear caliper, braided hose, dry lock, Motul RBF Fluid
Race prepped head, Blue printed/Balanced bottom end, Block skimmed, Dynojet and producing 157RWHP @ RJ Superbikes

Plenty of other mods but too many to mention here...

Just curious.... why the user name change?

Welcome to the site mark. I too have been a member of the yank site for many years but got fed up with it about 6 or so years ago. Was thinking of going back on there last week and found this site, it is miles better, in fact one of the best sites I've been on for years.

It could well be Medtech off the old forum,i dont think its Raceengineer,Bubs already questioned that guy on this forum

Obviously you had to have been there to get it

I sent Racengineer £50 for a part and never received it and he never came back on the old forum again. Then a few months ago he joined this forum so i sent him a message and again he never came back on.
