Get your self on a long private road & staying in first gear get up to around 6000rpm then twist the throttle hard *making sure your holding on fucking tight* change gear at about 11,500rpm (if you can still focus on the rev counter ) & carry on up through the box changing at 11,500rpm be warned the front should come up in first & second & it will come up quickly !

rev counter seemed to av a mind of its own not like a fault code I seen about on ere but just all over the place, like it slipping if that make any sense
anyway cheers peeps for all the good wishs and "BRING ON THE SUN"

If your sure it's not the fault code it could be a fubar taco , mine screwed up & wouldn't drop below 3000rpm , ended up getting one off eBay .
If you find someone that can fix then then let me know so I can get my old one fixed , if you do get one from eBay be careful I bought one in kph by mistake , did turn out to be a blessing as it was half the price & you can get them to read in mph using a soldering iron . UK spec tacos can select between mph & kph the one I got couldn't
