Thanks for the warm welcome lads .

I've been riding around 14 years starting out with a ZZR600 then ZX6R then a 636 B1h, then GSXR , Then 04 R1 which I loved and now onto my baby .. I love her ride but took me absolutely ages to get used to it after the power delivery of my old R1... Tbh thought I'd dropped a bollok after a few rides out but now wouldn't swap her for anything...well perhaps a BMW ...if they gave me money...lol..

Well My wife is dead and she was a real fit biker chick, but my woman now is fit too yeah.and a biker herself so happy days... . that was just for you PJC...and no I'm not posting any pics just yet...lol ;)

I'll post a few pics up soon of the bike but the bike is completely std minus good tyres.. I've just ordered some Leo Vince SBK unlimited cans and hopefully they will be here late next week .. just a Y-piece to fit then...

Again thanks for the warm welcome..

Andy

Also for got to mention I used to rally and scramble.. I had a YZF 450 which I ported and polished and was truly awsume.. .

I've also just sold my KTM 520 EXC last week as lack of use and it turned me into a mental 16 year old on a bmx every time I ride it...lol

Hi Andy, welcome to the forum mate, sorry to hear about your wife.
The 14b is awesome, this is a great site, no clicks, just peeps who love Yamaha's whether they be R1, r6 or r125 or any other Yamaha, we even have a few BMW members, cos the site is that cool, and the odd honda member .... You can tell them cos of their scotch plaid dressing gown ( no offence to members on the other side if had rains wall) pipe and slippers...... Sorry Matt.

We also have a great sense of humour, there is loads if banter and someone will always know the answer to your question... That's usually Luke...... Because he is always right.
Anyway welcome to the site and enjoy your new toy.

Steve

Do you mean tartan by any chance?
And dont worry half the world was wearing tartan before the Scots.
As for tartan kilts they came from Ireland.
