So do I... The sooner I can get off the A21 & make my own way down to Rye the better. It's far too crowded in Hastings nowadays on that day. Unlike in '79...

it's in the diary, should be at locks bottom around 9.30 - hoping for good weather!
Timbo - usual in hastings or straight to the conk?

If it turns out as good as last year then i'll be there. Aiming to have something to eat in Rye then down to the conk for a drink.

Not sure what Ian's doing but I doubt that he'd want to go anywhere near Hastings...

Just watch out for the radar guns going through Udimore... The 40 mph limit seems to go on forever. Got nabbed there for doing 52

Good idea...but there are a few thousand people at Locksbottom at around that time.

I normally park the bike to the right of the public toilet block then go walkabout for a while
