Hi There

I have been recommended this forum - I used to go to Yamaha R1.co.uk but this is pointing to a CGI error for the past month or so. I have been recommended this site from somebody that was interested in some bits from me.

Well by ways of introduction, I am the worst of the renegades. I have briefly owned an R1 4c8 trackbike which was very well sorted. Unfortunately after about 15 years riding twins, I have realised that this is not for me. So I have decided to move on and get a 1098 instead.

I will be keeping some parts of the R1 but breaking pretty much all the rest.
So apologies in advance for little participation and using the for sale - but I would rather that some of the parts go to a passionate person and not feeling the pockets of Fleabay in the process.

Not had time to post anything else so far. Will try and post a few pictures of old bikes and current bikes in terms of mechanical porn. I have had some nice stuff over the year though mostly Ducati.

The swingarm and engine of the R1 are indeed on ebay. Let me know if any interest. I am keeping forks and brakes. Shock, fairing, injection, wiring & electronics have gone.
Available are yokes (trick adjustable promach ones), GPR damper, Akra systems (Ti pipes, Carbon cans), wheels Slick + Wets, Frame and subframes, very sweet engine (with YEC kit cams / kit head gasket), big Bora race radiator, standard dash, rear sets.

I'll post more in the for sales section later with pictures.
