A quick hello, having just found this forum.
Running a 4C8 track/race bike in No Limits/Hottrax race series this year.
Based near Leicester, been into my bikes for many years, took a year out of the racing last year but missed the buzz so bought the R1 and back on it this year!

Welcome in dude, what else you raced and with who. You will find a few ex and current racers track addicts on here, pics are good but so is the spec of your bike. Enjoy this place we are here for each other
Have to ask but have you fitted an alloy subframe, if you have can I have the Yamaha one as mine is fecked

Cheers guys, I'll get some pics of the bike and post them up.
Not 100% sure of the spec of the bike but it goes something like this
186 brake motor (not sure what's inside!!)
IPC traction control
YEC ECU
Dynojet PC & QS
Maxton 25mm front end
WP rear shoch
And a knob on the handlebars!
I raced Thundersports way back in 09, streetfighter class on a Hornet, which was great for improving my riding. Then a few years of Hottrax Endurance, culminating in the giddy heights of 2nd place in the Clubmans 1000 class in 2012.
Not new to R1 ownersip as I had an 01 model on the road a few years back, it was mega.

I'm not moody, I got no kids today I'm in a restaurant after eating a Chateau brand washed down with a rather nice merit. Can't be happier
