Hello from Derby

Hi,
Signed up to have a look around, have a 98 red and white which I've had 8 years or so and live near Donington

Whet makes that better is it's an awesome pic of you going round the Melbourne loop...... As Jon said, we were there last Tuesday, but to be fair, I didn't look that good, so nice one mate

I'm also from derby & did 9 years at the airport for DHL .
Just missing a bit about your biking history :p

Was you in the warehouse Jompy I used to work on the ramp and in the flight watch tower around 8 years in total.

Mark i worked on the ramp from 1994 when we were down the old place & worked for hunting cargo airlines ,till i left in 2003 . So you'll know the likes of steve marriot , neil barsby , jack & steve tiejen then ?

Yes mate I was a team leader down the old hub along with Jack Steve and Neil Scott and Lee Mac I left roughly 11years ago Charlie Richards and Dave where in charge at the time.

What's wrong with zx7 and gixxers I had when working at Dhl must admit though the r1 is the only bike to touch my soul.

only bike i remember you having was the zx7 not my cuppa tea now the 14b on the other hand

Yeah looking back now the zx7 looks like an old bus but had a great front end.

Biking history then, sa50 passola, rs125 harada rep, dt125, cbr400, xr250r jdm, gsxr750ws, dr350, xr400r, dr650se, ccm644ds, and that's about it over the past 14 years. The r1 was purchased after the gsxr in that list and obviously I still have it. It's not very oem, 4c8 yokes, 14b forks calipers and wheel, Barnett clutch, isr mc and clutch perch, full akro with yosh can, translogic qs, and various other bits and bobs. 14t front sprocket for winners as well lol.
I also have an xr650r for green lanes, and a set of sm wheels for it for when I want to be a tw@
Btw, anyone fancy these? Gold nitride 5pw forks, stanchions are brand new along with seals and oil, fork bodies done 5k
