So here I am located near Brands Hatch, been riding since 7 years old, mostly had 1000 V twins and various smaller bikes.
Gave up riding on the road 3 years ago and just did track days, loved it on the track.
Unfortunately couldn't get out enough on the trackdays so bought a KTM 525 supermoto as I don't need to travel far. Got meself back into road riding and ultimately wanted my first 1000 4 cylinder for trackday only.
I found the R1 4c8 crashed, so I rebuilt it and run it on the road to make sure it was all ok and that was it my friends, I was hooked back into riding on the road again.
Even if I pop to the shop for a sherbet dip ton it that does me.
I discovered why my life was getting un liveable and realised that riding me bike regularly had to be on top of my list of things to do again, ( just behind doing the wife of course
) SO there we have it I'm on the R1 and loving it every time i'm on it which is mostly in the rain at the moment and just waiting for the weather to warm up so I can try my new Goldspeed road legal cut slick's on the KTM.
